The Local Progressive Candidate Training Program is designed to help individuals develop the skills and resources they need to advance progressive change through local elected office.

This intensive weekend-long training will give future candidates the opportunity to explore what it takes run for office. The training is designed for future candidates.

Details

From school board to state representative, local elected offices help set many of the policies that most directly affect our communities. The Local Progressive Candidate Training Program helps individuals who want to be a part of shaping the agenda of their communities through local elected office. Applications will go live on March 6, 2012 and the deadline for applications is April 17, 2012.

The components of the Local Progressive Candidate Training Program include:

• May 5th and 6th
• Workshops will run from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
